Infinitely Awesome Vacuum

I'm just on a "my favorite things kick" and I've meant to blog about this vacuum for a while but
I figure it will mean more now since I've had since June I think. Click on the pic for more info. Why do I love this vacuum??? Well I got tired of buying a 50$ vacuum every few years because the suction well, sucked. I also got tired of handing over money for more bags all the time. I researched vacuums for a while and I always wanted a Dyson but we're not a Dyson income family and I ended up coming across this one and read the reviews. I think researching and reading user reviews is a must when making big purchases and it pays off. The thing that initially lured me in with this was the " never loses suction" claim. Up until that point I had only heard of Dyson's claims. And being the weird person that I am that loves to vacuum, it really bugged me knowing my carpets were not getting as clean as they could. This vacuum has power, the first time I used it, it picked up so much dirt and the carpet was actually nice and fluffy, I heard it picking up all sorts of dirt out the carpet and I know it hadn't even been a week since I had vacuumed last.
Other great features:
*The hose is easy to use and you can set it at the bottom of the stairs and it reaches to the top stair.
*no bags to buy!!
*a lifetime hepa filter
*an extra foam and felt filter to use for when the dirty one is airdrying after being rinses.
*you can turn the roller brush off
*impressive suction
My tips, I empty the canister out every time before I vacuum. I even get a toothbrush and clean off the little metal fencing inside. And this winter Mitch blew out the cyclones and canister with his air compressor and it was like brand new.
Tom bought one too and he loves his.
I actually saw a commercial for it the other day and Isabelle got all excited" hey that's our vacuum!!"
I bought mine at walmart, I think the best price is there. I think the only other place you can buy is direct from the manufacturer and I think it's more money.
The only I think on this you may ever have to replace is the belt and maybe in a long long time a new brush roller.

Actual family update: this is the SICKEST winter we've ever had!!! Isabelle was barely over the last cold she got last week and came down with a new one on Wednesday, bad sore throat etc; Christian is so doomed. I can't even keep track anymore who's had what, and usually I can....

I would SOOOOOOOO love a new vacuum - so thanks for this! I may be asking you again when it actually comes time to make the "big" purchase. :-)
